Easy Winter Hair Care Routine

Winter is the season when you can free your hair from rubber-bands and let it be open without any sweat and messiness. And this is also the season of marriages and parties so lots of different hair styles and different hair styles comes with various styling tools which make our hair gorgeous but harsh cold winds and hair styling tools can damage our hair and make it dry and weak so proper hair care is must for gorgeous and healthy hair. This easy winter hair care routine makes your hair healthy, shiny, manageable and gorgeous without using lots of products.

Oiling
Oiling is the first and most basic and important step of any hair care routine that even our granny and mom always recommend but we usually forget this step but to give proper nourishment and moisture oiling is important. Always oil your hair the night before washing your hair or once or twice a week it will benefit the hair maximum. Massage your hair gently with warm oil (not hot) because warm oil went to the roots and nourish hair from the roots. I personally use the coconut oil but you can use any oil which you like or which suits you.

Cleaning
After oiling, clean your hair with a mild shampoo and if you have dandruff which is a common problem in winters then you can use anti-dandruff shampoo but try to use more natural ways to get rid of dandruff. Take a little amount of shampoo and mix it with little amount of water and then apply it on your hair and massage gently without rubbing and then wash you hair with cold or luke warm water and if needed then repeat this process one more time but did not overdo it because over shampooing can make your hair dry and frizzy. You can wash your hair once, twice or thrice according to your need but never wash your hair daily it can damage your hair and removes natural oil from your hair.

Conditioning
After washing hair, conditioning is must each and every time because it gives moisture to the hair and prevent them from drying.  Take a coin size of conditioner on your palm and apply on your hair gently avoiding the roots and more concentration on the tips of hair because tips of hair are most damaged parts and needs extra attention and leave it for 10 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with cold water to lock the moisture.

Drying
How we dry our hair is an underrated step but effect the health of our hair alot. Use old cotton t-shirt or thin cotton towel and dab the water gently from your hair and then let it dry naturally never rub or pull your hair because wet hair are already weak and it increase the hairfall which no one's want. Try to avoid hair dryer as much as possible but if you use a hair dryer then always use it on lowest possible setting or cold air setting from a proper distance.

Hair Serum
Serum makes our hair shiny, manageable and beautiful. Apply a little amount of serum on the length of your damp hair avoiding the roots, it lock the moisture of your damp hair and make it more shiny and manageable. You can also apply serum on your dry hair on the days when you are not shampooing to make your hair shiny, manageable and beautiful in few seconds.

So, this is a easy and basic hair care routine for healthy and gorgeous hair this winter so that you can flaunt your beautiful hair with confidence and without any fear of damage. Apart from this you can also take hair spa once in a month for deep conditioning and more healthy hair and always use heat protecting spray before using any hair styling tools.

*Results may very on different hair structures and conditions.
